How do they make the nike football leave nothing commercial?
the one with steven jackson and shawn merriman when they keep running thorugh a bunhc of different plays.
Steven and Shawn were shot on green screen. Everything in the background, including the turf, is added in post-production by computer.
They also didn’t shoot it all in one take. They edited a buch of different shots together. It was easier to do in Shawn’s commercial because they used a bunch of different shots of him standing up from prone as the blend shots, since he was on the ground after most of his tackles. With Steven they had to blend the edits by “morphing” two different spin move shots into one, for example.
One thing I heard about Steven Jackson’s commercial I thought was funny was that if it were actually shot on a real football field it would have to be over 250 yards long!
